Fire hydrants are an important part of our commitment to safety in the community. The purpose of a hydrant is to provide water, in an emergency, to emergency personnel.

If you witness any type of tanker or truck connected to a fire hydrant, or if you see water flowing from a fire hydrant, we ask that you call our office at 724-626-1211 or, if after business hours, our emergency number 724-628-5710 to report it. This action by you can help us control unauthorized use of a hydrant, will help to keep our water rates low and will help us ensure safety to the public.
